It is fairly easy to lose 5 pounds a week and you don’t need to undergo extreme measures or food strikes. Just the little things you can do to cut your normal intake of calories can help. Tiny changes such as eating a naturally sweetened piece of fruit instead of something that has gobs of refined sugars and fatty additives can put you on your way to losing five pounds each and every week.

trailbikingObviously your going to need some sort of exercise routine, one that incorporates a few high intensity workouts each week if possible. Really anything done consistently that is more than what you are currently doing can help you easily lose five pounds a week. As you exercise more you are going to want to continually increase the length of your workouts (if they are not long to begin with) and more importantly the intensities of your workouts to maintain your weight loss. If you keep your workouts low stress than your body will begin to adapt to this and burn fewer calories, resulting in a weight loss plateau.

simple (or if necessary drastic) changes in your eating habits can help you lose even more weight. Drinking water instead of sugar filled soft drinks or replacing french fries with baked potatoes are a couple examples. Substituting baked foods for fried foods and lean meats for fat laden meats will also help you lose five pounds a week. The many small changes you make with your diet can lead to a big reduction in your waistline. It is really not that hard to lose five pounds a week - just make simple beneficial changes to your diet and make sure you work out little harder (or at least as hard) than the week before.

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is an eBook authored by Tom Venuto, a natural bodybuilder who has been featured in such respected magazines as Men’s Fitness, Natural Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is an online eBook authored by Tom Venuto, a natural bodybuilder who has been featured in such respected magazines as Men’s Fitness, Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness, Ironman, and Men’s Exercise. Tom is also the author of a national best-seller hardcover book, The Body Fat Solution (Penguin/Avery books), and even Oprah Magazine had talked about this latest book. Tom created the Burn the Fat program in 2002 and it has been a best seller ever since, which goes to show, along with being featured in respected health and fitness magazines, that this is a legitimate program to have thrived this long on the web.

Having come from a bodybuilding background, this system is in fact based on the fat-burning secrets of bodybuilders and fitness models. They are under extreme pressure to be as lean as possible for competition, and being a natural bodybuilder himself (no use of steroids or other performance enhancing substances), Tom has been privy to and helped developed the best natural methods for shredding stubborn fat and getting super lean. Since Tom himself is not genetically predisposed to be lean, his approach is that if you take what bodybuilding, fitness and figure competitors do to get so lean, you can apply it to anyone and they will get the same results.

This theory has been proven to work for men and women. When looking at the Burn The Fat website, you’ll see a bunch of testimonials from people of all ages. Skeptics may think that these testimonials or people aren’t real, but if they were to research this product on the web there are outside sources where people talk about their success. One such example is the Burn The Fat Facebook free discussion forum, which has several thousand members who support each other to implement the program.

Keep in mind that this program is not a magic pill solution - it calls for structure and requires effort. You’ll be learning everything you need to know about calories, protein, carbs and fat to get low levels of body fat. You’ll learn the facts about low carb and high protein diets. You’ll get the inside info on fat burning foods – including lists of what to eat and when to eat them for optimal fat loss. You also learn how to set up a training program similar to those used by top natural bodybuilding and fitness champions. However, the Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle nutrition plan will work with your own training program if you prefer.

The Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle training program consists of weight training and cardiovascular training. If you don’t belong to a gym you’ll need access to basic equipment at home like dumbbells and barbells. One thing I didn’t like about the e-book was that it didn’t give you photos or detailed instructions on how to perform each exercise. If you know how to perform basic weight training exercises you will be able to follow along, but I think photos or instructions would help those that don’t.

I would say the main focus of the e-book is on nutrition, and as mentioned earlier it is pretty detailed and structured. It is long at over 300 pages. The program requires counting calories (but not cutting calories) and crunching numbers to create your ideal menu plans. While there’s a lot of value in that kind of precision, this approach may not be for everyone as some people prefer just estimating portion sizes.

burnthefatcovermdThere is no doubt that the methods in Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle work. The thing is I think this product is better suited for who are more advanced or experienced in their fitness levels. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working within a structure, or want to look like an athlete, then Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle would be a great program for you. Foods That Will Make You Lose Weight

There are certain foods that make you lose weight more so than other foods. Below we will list some of the foods that help with weight loss and their benefits.

Fruits and Vegetables

healthyveggies

Fruits and vegetables are high in water content, high in fiber, nutrient dense, and calorically sparse. The end result is you feel full without taking in a lot of calories and provide your body with many beneficial nutrients so that it won’t feel starved compared to when you feed it junk food devoid of nutrients.

Avocados

avocados

Avocados are rich in beneficial fatty acids including oleic acid, a mono unsaturated fat that has been shown to help lower cholesterol. Avocados also contain a lot of potassium which helps lower blood pressure. Because avocados contain “good” fats and not bad, you won’t store excess fat when you eat avocados.

Low Fat Dairy Products

milk

Low fat dairy products are high in protein and are great fat burning foods. They are high in calcium which helps strengthen bones and other tissues. Great sources of dairy are nonfat or low fat milk, cheeses, and yogurt.

Nuts and Seeds

Raw nuts and seeds are another food group that is high in fat content, but again this is the kind of fat that is beneficial for your health. Nuts such as cashews, almonds, pecans, and walnuts fill you up pretty quickly and satisfies the body’s needs for healthy fats, making you less susceptible to hunger pangs and eating unhealthy fats that pile on excess weight. These make for a great in-between-meals or nighttime snack.

Whole Eggs

Don’t skimp on the egg yolk. Whole eggs have a bad rap for being high in cholesterol, but most people don’t realize it contains mostly the good type of cholesterol.  Eggs are not only high in protein but are also one of the most nutrient dense foods there is.

Lean Meats and Fish

Lean meats and fish are high in protein and contain good fats like mono unsaturated fats and omega 3 fatty acids. These fats are utilized by the body to help keep cholesterol low and promote healthy skin, and the protein helps keep you lean and toned. Leans meats and fish are great for being the centerpieces of your nighttime meals.

All the foods above are great foods that make you lose weight and should be included as part of your overall diet to help promote weight loss.  At the same time you should be eliminating toxic foods such as refined sugars and fried foods that cause rapid weight gain. For optimal and quick weight loss it is important to combine a healthy overall diet with a daily exercise routine.

Target Tough Belly Fat With the Right Exercises

There are three keys to losing excess belly fat - high intensity workouts, ab specific exercises, and a healthy diet.  You’ll want to focus on all three if you want to get rid of stomach fat as fast as possible.

You must do certain exercises to lose stomach fat on a regular basis.  These include high intensity whole body exercises such as, depending on your current fitness level, speed walking, swimming, jogging or running, cycling, and cardio machines set at high resistance that works your arms and legs simultaneously.  Free weight exercises that target the core muscle groups are also great. These high stress whole body workouts consume a lot of calories and will help shred that excess stomach fat.  Finally to get six pack abs you’ll want to include exercises that hone in on the stomach area such as ab exercise machines, crunches, and leg raises.

The whole body workouts are the best exercises to lose stomach fat, but although less important ab specific exercises do help tome the abs and should be included a couple times a week. the should do some form of whole body exercises daily, and at least 3 or 4 of those per week should be at high intensity. If you combine these exercises with a healthy diet routinely, you will undoubtedly get rid of your excess stomach fat.

How To Lose Stubborn Belly Fat Quickly

abswomenNow that summertime is practically here many people would like to know how to lose belly fat fast so they can look good at the pool or beach. You might think you have to starve yourself, exercise three hours a day or go on some crazy fad diet to accomplish this, but the truth is you only have to follow a couple tips to get rid of that excess stomach fat in time for your next vacation.

Combining a healthy diet with a sensible exercise regimen consistently will help you to shed those unwanted pounds from your midsection pretty quickly. To lose belly fat fast the key is to first eliminate all the things that caused you to gain the extra weight to begin with.  Fried foods, sodas, high-calorie coffee drinks and anything with refined sugars (sweets, starchy breads and pastas) must be cut out from your diet.  Your meals should be based primarily in lean meats and vegetables, with a small portion of grains on the side like brown rice or a slice of 100% whole wheat bread. Eggs, whole grain cereals, yogurt, and fresh fruit are great for breakfast. To keep from feeling hungry all the time drink water with your meals and in between meals, along with a couple glasses of nonfat milk. For snacks eat fruit, raw vegetables, yogurt, and unsalted mixed nuts are great snacks that satisfy your hunger and give you the necessary energy to sustain your body between meals. You will be much less susceptible to hunger pangs when you eat healthy like this, and you will find you will be shredded that excess stomach fat pretty rapidly if you maintain this pattern of healthy eating consistently.

The other thing that will help you lose belly fat fast is to exercise regularly, but as long as you are eating a healthy diet you don’t have to exercise for hours each day. The important thing with shorter workouts is to exercise at a high intensity if possible, or at least mix in some high intensity workouts in your weekly routine. If you are not in good shape than you want to slowly add high stress workouts to your routine, but any workouts done consistently will help you get rid of that extra stomach fat. Your workouts should be 30-60 minutes each day, alternating longer low stress workouts with shorter high stress workouts. This pattern keeps your body burning the maximum amount of calories possible during workouts and will keep your metabolism high during rest so that the end result is a greater amount of burned calories. A couple times a week focus on exercises that target the stomach such as crunches to help develop six pack abs. Consistent exercise, combined with a healthy eating regimen, will help you lose that stubborn stomach fat in no time.
